New Year, New Me

As I look back over this year, I have so much to be thankful for.  God has been so good to me, my family and my friends over the last year.  We all have our health, happiness and abundant prosperity.  Looking back, there has been a lot, some high points, some low points, but milestones none-the-less.  As I sit back and reflect on just how dramatically different my life is from this time last year, I wonder, what will my life look like at this time next year?!?!   Like many people, I look at New Years as time to start fresh, wipe the slate clean; but, on the other hand, it can be a little scary too, you never know what the future holds.  I’m going to remain positive and trust that 2012 is going to be the best year for me and my family yet!  Only two resolutions this year: eat healthier and spend my money more judiciously…both of which are within my ability to do and realistic enough to stick with.  With that being said – Happy New Year!

Actually Keeping up with a Kardashian

Look out 'Big D!'  Dallas' newest transplant was spotted at a charity event in Downtown Dallas.  Not to worry, yours truly was there and ready with a slew of camera toting friends ready to snap a pic.  Take a look for yourself, I think it turned out well.  Also, props to my buddy, Frank, who was able to "assist" with the line situation.  I do like Khloe, but I'm not trying to wait in line for 5 hours behind 2,800 fans.

USPS-P'U

Make the mail slower...that's the way to fix problem! Great job, Postmater General. Seriously, making the problem worse and slower is no way to fix the USPS.  I just heard the evening news announce that the United States Postal Service was planning to scale back its delivery services as a cost containment strategy.  I'm sorry, but the decision maker whomever he/she is needs to go back to business school as related to this decision.  Taking a bad service and making it worse is not the way that I (or any competent person) would have handled this.
